i L O V E when i get to go on mini adventures with my gf! We get to go mountain biking and one time we kinda got lost bc i thought it would be a great idea to take a different trail in the middle of dam winter....

....I had accidentally misjuged where the road had ended and wound up zooomin down the side of a snow coverd slope because the snow lied to me.

after popping a 3 inch thick rubber tire, Ash used some safety line from her pack and tied to to a pine so we could pull the bike back up, and so i could Indiana jones my way up the side of the hill.

however, i had gotten a bad cut on my left calf (Checked to make sure, no i hadent torn my ACL) and we were 2 miles away from the main trial that would lead us another half mile back to the road. so in all we had a 2 1/2 mile walk in snowy pine winter land before we could get back to a warm place to rest up

Snow stings btw, but we finnaly got back after Me and ash had to walk our bikes allllll the way to campgrounds cabin and i'm pretty sure she was calling me a dumbass the whole time because she would check back at my leg and mutter something in Gallic/welsh/Dutch (Idk which cause even at normal volume shes pretty quiet)

But the receptionist whomst we've known for a while since we started biking together, gave us doughnuts from the lounge for free and coffee so a win win for me if you ask
