LinkMy dog has had cancer in his leg for about half a year, now he has gotten to a point where we have to put him down. So Sunday morning we are going to call the vet and have him put down in the comfort of his own home. I really feel like shit and I just don’t feel anything. I just feel empty.
Thanks, I feel like a ****ing bum, I feel just so god damn empty, it really hurts to not cry about but I just can’t.
Yeah, my dog is 17. It was inevitable anyways, we first noticed it when he was limping but we thought he had hurt himself and it seemed to get better after a month but then after that it all went downhill from there. He has a certain type of bone cancer that only takes half a year, so now that is been 6 months since we noticed it, we thought now it’s time since he keeps falling over and favors one leg over both.
Yeah, he is the friendliest dog anyone would ever meet, it would only make sense since he was born on Christmas. But he would lick and cuddle against anyone he sees. I just feel like a wreck, luckily I have another dog to comfort me but I don’t feel like I will be comfortable till after he rests so I know he is not in pain anymore.
i have had four dogs, and two cats
the only two dogs that are still alive right now are puppies
the other four that are dead are my old dog, my first puppy, and both of those cats
Jeez, I have only had 1 cat, 2 dogs, which are the ones I have currently. Sorry for your losses.
