THOUGHT PROCESS- I thought to myself when I was revamping my story for the first time, "Why make every sin the same age? Why not have a younger sin?" Then I threw that out the window until I realized that I see two sins in everyday life at school: Pride and Sloth. To me, teens tend to procrastinate a lot and even seem to romanticize it a sense, making my Sloth a 16 year old girl. :D

There's a lot of things I like to associate with sloth (most of it is inspired by the lovely BG101 on Instagram. Check them out and read their webtoon) I do associate Sleep and Nightmares with the sin of sloth, but also phobias. Essentially (words by BG101) "The sin of Sloth stems from the fear of messing up something important to the individual, fear of consequence. According to research, it’s commonly to hard sin to define or qualify; I assume because laziness in any form can either be subconscious or deliberate; either controllable or things relating to mental stability."

hence the phobia association. Leah seems like an innocent and average teen but she's on of the knights of hell. It's a fun concept I like to toy around with.
