Kai believed it was her destiny as the daughter of the King to rule her kingdom as its first ever queen. Her mother was a prostitute but she and the king had eloped in private when her father was very young. She had claim to the throne, but a fight between her parents drove them apart and Kai was forced to go away with her mother. The king refused to admit that Kai was his only legal heir. He, and many of his advisors, did not want to put a woman on the throne so he claimed the girl was conceived out of wedlock. Since none of his concubines were able to give him a son, the king stole an infant boy off the street and passed it off as his own. A nobody was about to steal her destiny and Kai was not about to let that happen. She and many other women wronged by the king formed a revolution to overthrow the castle. They followed Kai as their leader and were willing to do whatever it took to get their good madden on the throne.

Fighting the kingdom however is no easy task. The girls have to go undercover as performers to gain information and draw allies to their cause. Kai continues to grow her army and will one day avenge her mother's name and every person who put their faith in her.
