Sureno was, well, trying to find food or prey to hunt down. The red feline was still a little frustrated that there was no way to get off of this darned island... The striped feline was oblivious, perhaps the other’s stealth was above acceptable. If alerted would Sureno have shook the earth. However, they continued to move on, tail barely sweeping the floor. But then, Sureno started to feel uneasy. A hunch... He stopped moving and straightened his posture, ears occasionally swiveling from one direction to another.

Sureno immediately whirled around to the source of the sound, diluted purple eyes focused on the bush. With a narrowed gaze, she set down a fore paw down in the direction of the bush, and a cracked snaked from the paw to the bush. A jagged rock protruded from the crack and pierced the bush, but nothing came out of it. Then there were other bushes, and the process repeated. However, it seemed to tire them out, as the next would be slower than the one before. “Show yourself,” they spoke in a low hiss.

Sureno stopped using their powers for a moment, trying to calm down a little. They needed to be patient... This is like his times with Rowan. The other was always faster... |*Just try and predict their moves...*| Dhe watched closely, noting the white flash. Then, again did he use his powers, and a rock jutted out from the earth, striking right in front of the creature.

Sureno felt slightly triumphant in being able to stop the other, even if it may be for a brief moment. However, the red feline was still wary, not taking many steps in advance. In a low voice, she mewed, "Who the heck are you??" They kept their guard up, slightly crouched at the moment.

Sureno's fur bristled. He didn't quite like revealing his identity first, as he remained quiet for some time. However, the other was way larger than them in size, meaning she's probably stronger. Well, it's best not to underestimate her power. With a small exhale, she murmured, "It's Sureno. My arrival here was recent..." When they make it out of this cursed island, they'll make Shine pay.. For now- "And you? Now that I've answered."

The striped feline straightened his posture, no longer crouching slightly. However, wariness lingered in their diluted purple gaze. "Some manipulative jerk banished me here, that's what. Someone you don't know." Sureno regretted bringing Shine back from the living... Out of all the other dead cats, it had to be her. And Rowan.... Well- "It's a heck of a story, if you ask me."

At the silence, Sureno decided to speak once again. "How about you?" He queried, before taking a moment to look around, eventually glancing back at Corvid. "Did you just happen to end up here out of misfortune?"

A red ear twitched at her response, and a slight frown formed. "That's odd..." He murmured, a thoughtful glint in his purple gaze. "Well, whatever the reason is, there has to be a way off of this place..." Sureno flattened their ears. It felt impossible, though, because it most likely is.

Sureno gave a small huff. “But it’ll be so boring here,” they mewed. “And I need to save my fellow Scavenger cats…” Lord knows what Shine and Rowan are doing with them. “There has to be some way…” She murmured, but doubt was laced in her words. Yet the thought of the duo left them restless.
