but ah hey look i drew my wof ocs vulture is a sand/sky hybrid and crow is a scavenger heres some backstory you didnt ask for! vulture grew up in a sandwing village and had to steal to support herself and her skywing mother, as well as her brother. her brother, towhee, was one of those hybrids that didn’t turn out well and struggled greatly in combat and tasks that took a lot of strength or energy. since their father left to fight for burn and didn’t come back after her death, they eventually convinced their mother to move to the scorpion den once the war ended. however, vulture wasn’t satisfied. she enjoyed stealing- if had given her a purpose, even though it wasn’t a purpose people would think appealing. she was a master at her trade and didn’t want to give up, so she left to travel the continent in a life of thievery. coincidentally, crow, who’s family travelled as nomads away from any civilization, got separated from his kin in the desert due to a coyote attack. they quite literally found eachother-

-while both stealing the same sandwing’s treasure. crow panicked and tried to spear vulture, who tried to sting him, neither of which succeeding due to the sudden racket awakening the treasure’s owner. they both fled and hid in the same spot for about a day out of convenience, and eventually came to the conclusion that they were both without a place to return to and stuck together since in a wordless friendship. both are thieves; crow finds comfort in knowing he has an entire dragon to protect him and get him into places he couldn’t previously go to, vulture finds it helpful that crow can sneak around better than she can and get into places she can’t. i haven’t drawn these ocs in 8 months if anyone wants to see the crusty old art
