These noise canceling headphones aren't up to my standards they muffle my surroundings but don't fully muffle it if that makes sense
But I'm gonna have to use these until my dad buys me proper working ones
I have the Sony noise canceling headphones and they work really well apart from when people make loud noises. Like when my dog barks too loud the sound barrier breaks through the headphones for a second and you can hear it, it’s super annoying but it doesn’t happen much

I think my sound canceling headphones work well for conversation and when ur trying not to hear like other things that could be disruptive or overwhelming
They're pretty good at muffling other stuff like fans and sometimes music yk stuff like that but they're pretty bad at muffling human voices and yelling which is shit but they're ok to use for now if that makes sense idk I'm just rambling HELP
That makes sense! I think a lot of headphones don’t really take talking easily because it’s an abrupt change in sounds, for my headphones if I don’t want to hear thing I just turn up the volume and I literally don’t notice or hear anything at all
that's awesome that u can turn up the volume and stuff i wonder if they're comfortable to wear
My headphones overheat my ears and they're pretty hard on them which can be disruptive if worn for a long period of time but you can adjust how far they are on your head which is good if they don't fit properly
sorry for the late reply but they are pretty comfortable! my old headphones used to be be very uncomfortable for me and left imprints on the ears after a bit, the ones i use now are the Sony WH-CH720N and i got them at target for $130, for the price they are very good quality and work really well! I got them last Christmas and I haven’t really had any problems with them at all, so I think they will last me a long time. For battery life, it’s really really good. Sometimes I can go a couple of days without charging them and the sound quality is quite nice! I would definitely recommend giving them a shot if they are ever in your price range!
I just read the end of the comment and forgot to mention that the headphones I have an also adjustable! They fit on my dad who is 6’3, and fit on myself too!

I remember I got my current headphones from a race car event thing from 2021 me and my brother went to see and they gave us cheap noise canceling headphones because the race cars would be loud and like I'm pretty sure that's why mine are so low quality
And its also probably why they only muffle other sounds but not human voices

Also Sony has a thing where if you get the Headphones app it allows you to connect to your Sony headphones and adjust how you want noise to be transferred into the headphones! They have three settings: Noise canceling, which is just the noise canceling setting, Ambient noise, where you can play music but are able to hear people talking, And then there is Off, which is just no noise canceling
THATS AWESOME they sound like they work well.. idk if they're within my dad's budget but I'm gonna recommend them for him to buy anyways since they seem quite customizable and useful fr🔥
