I had to look that up. But basically, there will be 24 ppl battling, 12 on each side. They will be put in groups of 2, which means they will battle against each other. The audience votes for the winner, the winner moves on to the next level, and the loser is disqualified. The winners keep moving up until there are only 2 ppl left. Then those 2 battle and whoever is the winner is the singing battle champion! Yes you do have to sing.
