OOoooh yes get it!! My first bf was also about 8 ft tall but he was a stoner type. He played the drums and was obsessed with dinosaurs LOL. It was a very fun experience and not super traumatic lol. Just keep trying, sometimes boys take forever to realize someone is interested in them :)

Bad confession time. When I was younger I used to only have online friends because I could tell them my HONEST opinions and if they rejected me or made me feel like crap about it - I would just block them. Kind of a sociopath thing to do but most people irl where very critical and mean to me whereas people online where usually willing to give me a chance!
People will always hold stupid shit like that against you. Especially if they're older because they know they have an unfair advantage. Like, your parents remember every single embarrassing thing you ever did however you (being a younger person) probably weren't aware of most of their adult problems. Basically, they have a head start in the embarrassment memory bank.
My dad gets annoying with that too. He'll be telling me shit like "remember when you had an ugly fursona and you wanted to marry that awful boy from school??" *SIGH* yes dad, thanks for reminding me
