So I made a story where there are these spirit animals that live in the forest and protect any unnatural deaths. Like, if it isn’t hunting season and people are out trying to kill animals, they would go for the animals aid. Now there are 5 of these spirits.

A deer- He can see into the future of 10 seconds when something bad is going to happen. He is also very fast. He can get over 2 miles in less than 15 seconds. A husky- He has the power of fire. He can extract fire from his body and suck it back up. But, when he sucks up the fire, smoke fills his lungs so he must exhale it out. No damage goes to the lungs but if he holds too much he may die

Two foxes- These two female white foxes have the power of crystals. They live in the caves and cracks of the earth. So if there were to be a hiking incident then they can guid the person out using their glowing crystals and with their perfect memory of the caves, they never get lost. Finally, this wolf- He was born with the power of death. Whatever living thing he touches dies. But when he finds the yellow butterfly, it gives him the power of giving life to deceased things. If it is already dead within the time of 24 hours, he cannot bring it back to life

THE STORY When the wolf finds the butterfly, they become friends. But the wolf doesn’t show any emotion or anything. That’s just how he is. One day they meet the other forest spirits and once they are all familiar with each other, they all live their lives with protecting the forest and the things around it. Until, one day there were these hunters. They were breaking the rules of killing any animals in that part of the forest. While they were trying to catch a rabbit, the wolf came to the rescue and the rabbit was able to get away. This angered the hunters but they knew that they were not allowed to kill the forest spirits

But one of the hunters decided to try and shoot at the wolf when it’s back was turned. He wanted to make a profit off of the spirit. When he fired, the butterfly got into action and summoned other glowing butterflies of different colors. They all swarmed the two men. The man noticed that all of the butterflies were different colors except for yellow, and shot at the yellow butterfly. He knew that it was the main source. When he shot at the butterfly, it instantly fell to the floor and all of the other butterflies flew away. As the wolf stand there in shock staring at its friend, anger grows within him and he lunges at the hunter. With only one touch, he kills him. The wolf almost strikes at the other hunter when the other forest spirits arrive and stop him. The deer tries to reason with him and the wolf is too angry to listen. The husky demands the foxes to use a crystal attack on him to knock him out. They are hesitant but do

When the wolf wakes up, he is laying there alone. The sky is a dark blue and it’s quiet. The air smells like rain. He notices a small yellow glow coming from a grass patch and rushes over. The butterfly is badly hurt. The bullet went straight through him and the butterflies powers are wearing off. It’s dying. The wolf watches at his friend is slowly going lifeless and nudges his body on a leaf. He picks up the leaf, sniffs the air, and starts to walk east. As he’s waking in a straight line, he passes a couple on a hiking trip. Their backs are facing him and he sees what they are watching on the tiny screen. The hunter that escaped is on the news. He’s talking about him and how he attacked the hunter and his friend. The couple notice and are startled. But he only stares at them, then slowly strides off. He finally makes it to his destination after passing many people and highways. He is standing in front of the other spirits. He then neatly places the leaf down, showing them his dying friend.

As they are unable to say anything, they look up and notice the impossible. With his head hanging low, ears down, and not making a sound... a tear falls from his face. Then another. He’s crying. It’s the only emotion he’s ever done in his life...
