LinkI litterally stay zoomed out, and i sketch a rough draft with one colour, like blue, then go over it zoomed in neater with another colour on a different layer(typically red) THen, i make another layer and trace the red lines, and finally, i go to the red line layer, and remove it all to sketch a rough draft for the details, then i go over it all in black.

Linki normally have smaller heads, depending on kids or adults, kids have bigger heads, adults are smoler
i also draw the eyes before the hair to get the porportions right
Okay, so when I sketch I start by making the base of the head (a circle), make the hair style and then use the guide lines (a T across the face) to place the eyes. Then I start on the body, and go back over (when I'm done) with darker lines or pen/sharpie and erase the rest

and when i draw heads they look kinda big so XD

When u draw a character, sketch/construct the whole body and add the details later.
From big to small. And always zoom out that you can see the bigger picture, to see if you got proportions right..
