I was asking my mom if my actual dad was off of work yet, and if I could call him,since my dad said we'd do an art project with me, and My step-dad interrupted with "what?" and I said "I was asking my MOM if my dad's off wor-" he cut me off saying "I don't know." and then I said "why do you have to interrupt my conversation?" and then he snapped at saying "Stop being so rude or i'll ground you,and because I'm standing right ****ING HERE."
