Linkso yesterday at about 8:30 am i went to go shower because i was gonna have a physical checkup and i didn't want to go all stinky lmao anyway, i was showering and then my vision was going all weird and i started seeing like these black dots. like you know when you get up to fast and your vision gets all funky? yeah that was happening to me for no reason and i literally had to grab onto the handle on the door to keep myself up.
i knew something wasn't right so i went out the shower really quick to unlock the door just in case something happened. i went back in and then i was gagging. like i was throwing up but nothing was coming out. so i called my mom for help and she came and i told her what was happening.
she told me to turn off the hot water and she wrapped me up in a towel and held me over the toilet just in case i was gonna vomit you know. then i felt like i went to sleep. next thing you know i'm on the floor and i asked my mom what happened and she said i passed out? like what how did that happen.

Linkscariest shit that's ever happened to me hands down.
felt perfectly fine after that. i still had conditioner in my hair so i just rinsed that out and i changed and we went to the doctors. when my mom told the doctor about what happen the doctor had said that it was a weird phenomenon for teenage girls to pass out??? like what.
no female that i've known has passed out like how i did. she was literally making no sense but okay whatever. so i took some blood tests to see if i'm anemic or something. hopefully not, we'll get the results in about 2 days so we'll see what happens.
Or irregular breathing...lack of oxygen...try having the door open or something that would increase the air flow
that's what my mom and i were thinking but they took my blood pressure and it seems perfectly fine so i'm like super confused

yeah i always have my window open when i shower so it doesn't get too humid in the restroom
See if it helps, often, it is the lack of air that causes people to faint...I mean, if this happens again, get out and take deep breaths and see if it helps.
If I was in your shoes I would be extremely anxious, so your handling this super well.
Just trust the doctors are the miracle of modern medicine, I think you'll be fine. If it were that bad, you could have thrown up blood but you didn't so thats good.
Any foods you had that may have caused it? I think it's important your calm.
ah usually i would freak out about this too but like it was weird how calm i was because when you pass out, it's very calming. you feel like you fall asleep. yeah, hopefully the doctors were right about it just being a weird phenomenon.
and no, no foods i ate were weird or out of the norm.
Was the shower too hot? I get light headed when my shower is too hot sometimes
maybe? that's what my mom was thinking right away from the heat but it was at the same heat i had always put it on. and even if it was from the heat, it would be weird for me to be gagging almost throwing up if it was just from that.
