Mira-Jane: *her ears went down as she looked up I him, she took a step back* s-sorry I-I will-

Mira-Jane: *she studied his eyes as she fumbled with her skirt as she usually did when nervous* ...are you a demon?

Mira-Jane: o-oh were you killed?

Mira-Jane: I’m sorry to hear that sir. *she sighed* what’s your name?

Mira-Jane: M-Mira-Jane, it’s nice to meet you- *she kindly smiled*

Mira-Jane: *she nodded* did you just come back?

Mira-Jane: then I could give you help- if you need it that is-

Mira-Jane: y-yes actually- *she nodded*

Mira-Jane: w-why? Do you have business w-with him?

Mira-Jane: *she hesitantly nodded and started walking* ok.. follow me-

Mira-Jane: *she was silent as they walked*

Mira-Jane: ...what kind of business do you have with him? *she raised a brow, looking up at him*

Mira-Jane: so you’re... *she slowed down a bit* what are you gonna do when you get there-

Mira-Jane: *she nodded, seeing Kai’s building ahead*

Mira-Jane: *she approached the door* h-he should be here.

Mira-Jane: *she followed* anytime.

Mira-Jane: *she noticed their glances as she followed him, more questions had risen in her mind*

Mira-Jane: uh Marne *she squinted at the gun, her ears quickly perked up* w-what a-are you g-going to do w-with that?

She got up off the wall, deciding a smoke wouldn't be all that bad now. She walked over to the alley, tapping him lightly on the shoulder to get his attention. "Mind if I ask for a cigarette?"

She gave a brief smile, pulling one from the box. "Thank you. Needed this after today, heh." She got out her own lighter, fumbling a bit before the flame lit.

She took in a drag, lookint down at him as she crossed her legs. "You look upset. Everything alright?"

"It's Mary. Yours?" She put the cigarette back up to her lips, looking forward as she exhaled.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Marne." She smiled and watched him stomp the cigarette out.

"I'm only visiting for business. I'm from America, but I live in France as of now." She shrugged, hodling the cigarette loosely in between her fingers.

Her smile widened a bit. "Ah, you have kids? How many?"

(PFPFGT- as far as he knows i- 😭😭😭💀) Mary blinked, not exactly sure how to respond. "As far as you know?"

She let out a small chuckle, nodding off as she put out her cigarette. "Understood. I can never understand that lifestyle, but I guess if it brings you joy go for it."

"Do you have a job?" She fixed her fluffball of hair, brushing some strands out of her face.

"Ah. Understood. Wish I could help you out there, but I wouldn't pin you as the type who can work in a lab."

She shrugged. "Figured. What kind of job do you plan on going for?"

She raised a brow. "Deal with him? What'd he do to make you have to 'deal' with him?"

She blinked, looking him up and down. "Are you some sort of demon or ghost then?"

"Ah. Never met a demon before so just had to ask." She looked off. "Kind of sucks your son killed you, though."
