As you can clearly tell by my fascination with odd stuff, I kinda grew up with weird media. Specifically, weird online cartoons. From Alan Beckers animation vs animator series to OneyNG's Leo and Satan, I watched it all. A mainstay in my webtoon catalogue of love has been Eddsworld. It was kind of my introduction to the weird webtoon. They had surrealist humour and very little story structure. I loved it so much. Especially seeing Edd improve as an artist, animator and writer. I my not have ben there from the absolute beginning, but when Io joined, I stayed the distance. Then tragedy struck. Eddsworld Legacy started. The animation went from one guy doing his best to overproduced garbo. The writing went from toned down weirdness to zany mnormalcy. It was no longer four(or three) regular guys in a weird world, treating everything how an actual resident would treat it ("oh, 300clones of me and my mates? Must be a tuesday"). Now it's three zany caricatures, treating everything like it's new.
