Today I saw a young girl standing before me
I couldn’t bare to look at her
I told her she was hideous
Her nose was to wide
Her stomach to soft
I analyzed every inch of her body
Her lips where far to thin
Her legs were to fat
She looked like she hadn’t ate in months
She began to cry.
Oh, how ugly she looked when she cried
I glanced at her one last time
Before I stepped back from the mirror
And let my insecurities win.
My response-
(Awe-poor girl)
I couldn’t bare to look at her
I told her she was beautiful
Her nose was lil and cute like a button
Her stomach was strong and thin
