My family invalidate and bully me all the time for being trans.
And multiple times I have debated suicide because of them.
It's hard.
But I know that outside of my oppressive home, I can be who I want.
I can fight for my rights, and for the rights of all my fellow siblings in the LGBT community. Because they are my family. They are my people.
