LinkI recognize that I used the term Lesboy in the wrong way with the wrong context. I see that. I also see that I argued with people while believing what a mutual on Twitter said just because they were,, a mutual. However I made that post to spread awarness about the post my mutual made, I never had stated that I was a Lesboy myself...only saying that I MIGHT be one, but that doesnt excuse my misuse of the term.

Do not apologize for exploring yourself. But learn from past mistakes and be careful, especially on a website like this.
If you want to use a label, use the label. But please do research on said label first.

You may think you fit into a term or label, but upon further understanding, you may find that you don’t. But that’s okay! Because then you can explore other labels and such. Even if you don’t want to use ANY labels, it’s just fine!
I saw this whole thing go on and thank you for admitting that that post was wrong :) I'm mostly apart of that community and I really just wanted to wait until you posted something like this to say something- I was really annoyed with how you were using it but I understood you didn't really understand.

I'd consider myself lesbian adjacent? (Bisexual but horrified of most men) And honestly I don't personally see it as the biggest deal, it's not like you spouted slurs. Obviously not cool to use a claimed term like that improperly, but from what I've seen (Albeit I didn't catch all of it) it was a bit of a typical flipanim overreaction.
i dont think it was as big of a deal some people made it out to be, and you def didn't deserve the harassment. it was a simple misunderstanding, especially from a source like Twitter. as a butch lesbian personally I didn't feel offended or targeted at all. its good for you to learn what it is though!
