This site makes me sad sometimes Like it's a former shell of what used to be an active site with a growing community I wonder why flipanims still keeping this site up because surely you'd have to pay for it to keep servers running and there's literally no ads on the site how is this dude making money

Too much people glorify being an asshole on this site and I guess it's kinda always been like that but it's a little annoying because it clearly shows you don't have anything better to do

Anyways um continuing my rambling I was thinking of joining art fight this year, made an account last year and I didn't do anything It's a little bit confusing but I think I'll get the hang of it I don't really see the appeal on this site of telling people to kill themselves or slit as "ragebait" or some funny joke or whatever It's the most copy&paste shit I've seen and I have yet to see a troll that's genuinely funny and doesn't use shock humor as a way to gain attention I feel alot of the users on this site now use it as a diary, which to be honest, I don't judge because I do the exact same It kinda scares me because one day this site is gonna shut down and we're probably gonna lose all of our art and posts ☠️🙏

I'm surprised it even made it to 2024 It makes me upset seeing the way this site turned out, I remember getting 99+ notifications per day and now I just get 20-40 This site means alot to me because it helped me improve my art and grow as an artist and person which is something I respect, I just wish flipanim had hired moderators from the start because there's a chance that could've protected children on here just a little bit more.
