LinkScorp looked around the room in despair. His latest experiment failed miserably, this was his final straw. He spent so long trying to perfect at least one experiment after the incidents. The table in front of him was soon tossed on its side. The scientist was startled when his phone rang, quickly pulling it out.
Scorp cautiously answered, “Hello? Who is this? How did you get this number?”
A teenage voice quickly responded, “Hello! I’m Xavier and I’m calling because you where looking for an assistant”
The scientist sighed quietly, “Right, well come on in tomorrow and we will see how you do, alright?”
Xavier gave a sigh of relief, “Alright! I’ll be there tomorrow!” Scorp then hung up on him, putting the table back up shortly after. The room had been caked with different failed experiments, blood and guts splattered on every wall. The scientist soon went to work in cleaning up his mess, taking long hours to make the room seem clean.

LinkHe then left the first of many lab rooms in his building, moving to clean up all his messes, all his mistakes, so that he can try to start anew. The thin line of his sanity he created kept him going. Hope filled the scientist as he worked on cleaning. The hope that he could go on with a normal live. The hope that he could reverse the incidents. The hope that he wouldn’t snap as he worked. The scientist looked into one room, a shape moving back and forth, pacing, waiting. He sighed as he watched the shape. The shape stopped and looked at the door, making Scorp nervous. The thing walked up to the door, a face barely becoming visible as Scorp backed away, leaving the shape to its business. He went into an empty cell, making sure it was ready for his new guest. Scorp then went and checked in his closet of different experiment ideas and the equipment needed. Front and center was a vial of a black substance, which Scorp grabbed and studied.
Scorp sighed as he said, “Let’s hope this works”
