1 if you want your animations to be smooth try speeding it up but keep some parts slow

2 Try tweening before you try hand drawn animation

and try doing something simple try not to make it as smooth as you can but make some parts choppy and then speed it up if you want your animations to take a slower time

and the more you do it the longer it will take to animate

more frames makes it smoother.
