okay if this looks really sloppy it's because the beta started lagging near the end and my penstrokes got w e ir d i literally couldn't draw a straight line without using a mouse anyway, this is jakob!! he's a boy (he/him), 17, and kind of like a satyr but he's a deer. he's almost like the opposite of abi - anxious, quiet, doesn't like to draw attention to himself. he's so anxious to the point that it's honestly a bit tiresome and annoying, and is kind of selfish and doesn't think of others that much. this is pretty much the reason why he has next to no friends. nobody knows why he and abi are friends or why she doesn't find him so annoying that she doesn't want to hang out with him anymore. she probably started using him to steal things for her at first, because he's great at that. it's become some sort of habit for him honestly. he steals things almost unconsciously, but gets incredibly flustered when caught. the thing he likes to steal most is food. he will steal yours. he doesn't care if you need it.

he's very average and boring, which he's for the most part fine with. he doesn't like drawing attention to himself. people who are ignored are better at stealing. jakob's also very messy and careless, and doesn't put much effort into his appearance or organization. (he does like wearing pink when he can though, but it has to be something that's easy to put on.) he's really scared of practically everything even if his fears are pretty much irrational, which can be really difficult to deal with especially since he pays little attention to how others are feeling. he's scared, and that's all that matters. not that he can really help it, but he doesn't always realize how selfish he is.

oh!! and other than being a satyr, he doesn't have that many powers. they're kind of useless. when he's scared he can temporarily shrink to up to half his size. he literally can't control this, and think it's pretty useless because it'd come quite in handy in some cases.

does jakob hate himself? no, not really. he thinks he's pretty okay. he'd brag about how good he is at stealing if that was something he should brag about. for such a negative person, he thinks surprisingly highly of himself. despite all this, he can be a nice person when he wants to be. he gives random stuff he steals to abi if he thinks that she'll like it, or if he ends up not liking the thing he stole. he's sweet but doesn't really show it. sometimes it's hard to tell whether he likes you or not.
