LinkWhen it comes to drawing that is something me and many others struggle with. For me it is the body structure and making it look like, well WHAT IT IS! I'm currently drawing a Cheetah But it looks like an ordinary not even really cat. The main species that I draw are
Wolf
Dog
Cat
Pretty generic which is why I had been asking for different different type animals To practice with

Look at an actual picture of a human and look at the shape of the body and copy it
Oh I'm drawing animals but yeah that is pretty smart idk why tracing gets so much has it's a very good way to develop a Style. Obviously as long as you don't copy it Line for line but you know what I mean

That's the best way to start learning besides tutorials
Find one that will give you measurements and ratios for body proportions. You can find them for a lot of animals.

they're quit complexe but simple at the same time ^^
i don't know if this will help but look at some running cheetahs video
that'll make you see how their bodies work, even if you're not animating
looking at cheetah sketches made by others also really helps ^^
I usually look at a skeleton of the animal, and then a muscle diagram. It helps the most in my opinion.
