Chapter 10 My Physical Appearance Ruins Everything Now “Azumane-San'' I heard a calm voice as I slowly opened my eyes. Todoroki was standing above me holding my shoulder. “Todoroki-Kun'' I said then gasped. “I am sorry, I mean Master Shouto?” I sat up quickly, slowly starting to get a headache. “Good you're awake, just call me Master Shouto around my father okay?” He said looking out the window. “Mhm” I said as I rubbed my eye that didn’t have the patch on. “Recovery girl said that the eye patch can come off today,” Todoroki-Kun said as he untied it from the back and took it off. I could feel my eye slowly start to open, still difficult a bit but I could open it.

I walked over to the mirror and saw a scar over my eyelid, and 3 smaller scars under my eye. “I am all scars huh,” I said to look at my wrapped up arm. “If your face is that bad of scars, then your arm must have more on your face” he said as he looked at my arm. “I don't care if I am full of scars, I just want to achieve my goals no matter what” I proclaimed clenching my fist. “I am here if you need help” he said looking at me. “I made some Tamago Eggs, for breakfast. I know you made some yesterday so I saved a bit and tried to tell what ingredients you added in them,” He looked over to study his face. “They aren’t as good as yours were, but they are better than nothing” He smiled as turned away to look out the window. “Was it just me or was it getting hot in here” I thought to myself, of course I wasn’t going to ask that but, it kept me wondering.

“Todoroki-Kun,” I said, not holding back. “Why do you care for me?” I asked looking into his eyes. He looked towards the door, then out the window. “I-” he started out. “I just feel the need to take care of someone like they care for me” he said looking down at his hands, he still held a stern face. “I am going to iron my uniform now, then get ready for school” I said as I went to grab my uniform. “I will iron it” I heard Todoroki-Kun say as he grabs my uniform before me. I looked up at his face to see him looking away and continuing to walk.

“Why would he want to help me still?” I questioned myself sitting on my bed, and a ton of dust flew out from under it. I looked at my arm and sighed deeply. Todoroki entered the room holding my nicely ironed uniform and walked out so I could change. I struggled to get my shirt on with my wrapped up arm, but I got it. I walked out carrying my bag to leave. I started walking towards the door. I felt someone grab my left shoulder, I turned around to see who it is. I looked over my shoulder and saw master Eiji looking down at me. I looked away feeling ashamed of being weak. “You’re not very strong are you?” He smirked, I saw Todoroki look this way. “But you are brave and care about others, you will be a great hero” he said turning away, as I saw Todoroki-Kun rush towards me. I gave him the look saying lets go. I open the door and he holds it as I walk out. I bow saying thanks.

“Did you hear what my father said,” Todoroki-Kun said looking at me. “Yes,” I said looking around children and other people staring at me. “Must be because of my face” I say, starting to glare at the people looking at me. “I can't be a hero with a face like this, it will freak people out” I said in a gloomy voice. “It doesn’t matter what you look like, scars or not you can still be a hero” he said looking towards the school doors. My left eye was basically closed by force and my right arm was still striking with pain. I walk towards the front door to see students in every direction staring at me. I slance at Todoroki-Kun and see him looking down at me. “You’re changing, due to the incident isn’t it?” he asked, looking stern. “Don't let your physical appearance and your scars change you inside,” he said as we entered the school. “Whatever Todoroki-Kun” I snickered and looked away angrily.
