First off, the kid in front of named Makuro Tiashi, and he's Miro's friend from kindergarten to 6th grade. This boy is also a precious bean who loves to adventure and was the first one to get Miro to come out of his shell (besides his mother) Miro met Makuro shortly after his mother passed away. Makuro's power is water, so as a little kid who was afraid of his own abilities, he wanted to be close to Makuro at all times. Makuro was amazed by Miro's powers after they spent some time together in the woods, he convinced Miro to use his fire and see the light in it. He used it once before then but accidentally burnt Makuro out of fear. Obviously, Makuro didn't mind, and it left a scar on his right hand. Other than that, these two had a kind of standard friendship over the years before Makuro was forced to move away with his family.
