why do people push their ships on other people ducking threatening them for not liking the ship

This happened in 2019 I was in the ch amino

so i didnt like rusame People didnt really care, they still thought of me as a normal ch user so some retard* decided to dm/pm me. They asked me something along the lines of "why dont you like rusame?" I just replied I'm not very interested in the ship and it doesn't really make sense to me. Then they started to get more, pushy i could say? Basically they tried to (badly) reason with me on why i should like it and how it makes sense. I once again said no I dont like the ship

they literally stated these points on why "you should like rusame"

i just told them no. I just dont like it they were the literal stereotypical rusame fangirl that also likes ussr x third. i lost braincells with that person
