Unexpectedly, he picked up some kind of healing ointment and put it on Sais hand before bandaging it up with surprising skill, seeming to take time to make sure he did it correctly.

He huffed, then glanced at his face, holding eye contact for a few seconds before turing back to his table of tools.

He rummaged through a small box he had on the table, and pulled out a needle and a tube of liquid.

He filled the needle with the liquid and turned to Sai. "If you want this to be painless then turn your head."

He sighed and shook his head before grabbing his hair an forcing him to tilt his head, sticking the needle into his throat and injecting it into him.

He pulled the needle out and set it back down as Sai's neck began to tingle, like when your foot falls asleep.

"Its an anesthesia." He spoke casually as he began to clean his hands of Sais blood from earlier. "It starts slow, spreading throughout your body until it paralyzes you, and then you'll fall asleep."

He smiled. "Ah, just be glad I didnt force the rat poison down your throat."

"Just be glad I'm deciding to take you back to UA and not throwing you off a bridge."

"****ing FINALLY that got you to shut up. Anyway, the anesthesia should be at about your waist now. It affects the head the last."

He leaned against the wall. "Dont look so down. You're going back to your stupid school."

He pulled something out of his pocket, a pocket watch, and opened it, checking the time. "You should start feeling fatigued........ Now." Just as he said that, a sudden wave of exhaustion hit Sai like a tidal wave.

He smirked, crossing his arms. "I've been affected by this stuff before. It'll affect you in waves, progressively getting stronger and stronger till you can't fight it."

A a a a a-)) He mumbled for few seconds. "Now." Right on cue, another wave hit Sai.

A few more seconds, and another wave.

His voice suddenly became soft and gentle, nothing like it was before. "There you go, little hero. Just give in and let your mind rest.."

He sighed and lightly brushed Sai's bangs from his face, a smile forming on his face. You gotta remember Sho originally liked Sai-))

He hummed and untied Sai before taking him in arm and heading back to UA. Timskep))

Otay)) By the time Sai would wake up, he was laying comfortable in bed in his dorm. The bandages on his hand were gone, and his hand was fully healed. He was even tucked in.

Sorry I'm at school 😭😭😭)) There was no sign that anything had even happened.

Suddenly, the villain alarm went off.

Students were running around, screaming as shadow demons and other horrifying creatures chased them. Once again, Shogenki had attacked. I changed his quirks. He can still take away people's quirks, but he can turn shadows to monsters.))

Pretty much-)) Just then, Shogenki could be seen casually walking down the hall, mayhem and destruction occuring behind him.

He glanced toward the two, flashing a devilish grin before falling backwards, the shadows swooping him up off the ground.

He burst into crazed laughter. "You heroes can't even tell each other apart!"

He yawned dramatically. The shadows holding him up merged with his legs, creating long black limbs.

He chuckled, "Ah, you're just short. Besides, you're only alive because of me. I could've easily thrown you into a lake."

He grew flushed for a second, just a second, before regaining his terrifying persona. "Cuz I wanna kill you while you're awake."

((Also Shogenki-)) He growled, and raised his hand, summoning several demons, and sent them on Sai.

He reacted quickly, but not quickly enough to not get a scratch on his face from Said claws.

His reaction time was slower, causing his arm to get injured.

After a while of this, Shogenki was covered in scratches, only a few bleeding badly. He was visibly struggling to catch his breath.

He pounded against the door for a few minutes before silence.

There was no answer.

Surprisingly, he was curled up in the corner in fatal position, clutching the inhaler. He glanced up at Sai and growled deeply. Downside to his quirk- He hates the dark-))

"You ****ing captured me, we all get it, just take me to jail and let me out of this shithole!"

"I..." He slowly got up, using the wall for support. "You sure are persistent.."

He tossed the inhaler, it landing at Sais feet, "You're strong for a pint hero, I'll admit."

Puny*)) "Mm. You're one of the only people that actually made me have an asthma attack." He chuckled softly.

"Only from fighting you. I don't have them as often as you'd think."

He smiled. "Heh. Yeah, you make he stagger home needing intense medical care." He rubbed the back of his neck before wincing. "Ow-"

"So there ya go, a huge ego boost. Now you're gonna take me to jail and brag about it." He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.

He paused, then sighed. "Y'know, if you don't take me to jail and the school finds out, you're gonna get kicked out." He muttered something after that sentence, looking away sadly.

He tensed up for a second, his hands balling to fists. "No you don't."

He stared at the ground, his voice lightly breaking. /"You don't want to be separated from everyone, ridiculed and humiliated, never being able to fit in, have rumors spread around the entire city until the only way you can live off the streets is to be a villain.." He never seemed so vulnerable and weak as he did now, blood and tears dripping to the floor. "You'd never want that." Boom, sneak peek of Shoes backstory-))

He huffed and kicked at the ground. "But what do I know, right? I'm just a big, scary villain.."

He instinctively flinched, then stared at him for a few seconds. Suddenly, he turned to look the other way, soft sniffing heard soon after.

"F-**** off-"

He watched him leave before sighing, sinking back down to the floor.

He stayed in the shed for a minute or two before going back home.

:) )) The next morning, there was a sticky note literally ON Sais face, stuck on his forehead.

"Meet me at the rooftop before your class." The handwriting was obviously written by a person, but the way it was written was odd. Each letter was exactly the same size, and they were lined up perfectly. Because that's satisfying-))

Shogenki was perched above the entrance, out of view. He was grinning, wanting to see how long it'd take to be noticed.

He let out a small snicker.

He couldn't hold back a snort, and covered his mouth.

He burst out laughing jumping down. "Ah, that was priceless!"

"Don't be such a sourpuss. Have fun!" He walked over to the edge, facing Sai. "Hey, wanna see a magic trick?"

He smiled, and gave a small salute before falling backwards, over the edge of the building.

He had disappeared completely.

A whistling was heard from behind him.

Shogenki was there, completely unscathed with a huge smile on his face.

"Tadaaaa!" He struck an over the top pose.

He smiled wider. "C'mon. You know you wanna."

He chuckled and playfully punched him in the shoulder. "Awwwe, you cared about me!"

((They really do 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭)) He snorted and squatted down on the edge. "Didn't expect you to come."

He glanced up at him. "So, tell me. Why didn't you beat me when I was weak?"

(( :0 )) "... Hm." He looked down over the edge. "When you become a hero, you're gonna have to get over that."

"I don't believe we ever actually got the chance to properly introduce ourselves."

"I see." He stood up. "Anyway, is today a school day for you?"

He crossed his arms over his chest. "?"

"Whaaat the-" He turned his head around. "WHAAAT THE-"

He began spinning in a circle like a dog chasing it's tail. "WHATTHE****WHATTHE****WHATTHE****-"

"GET THESE THINGS OFF ME-"

"Oh wait shit- Are you alright?-"

"Also, you forgot I can walk on shadows-"

He snickered. "Dumbass."

He groaned. "But I like my shadows betterrrrrrrr!"

He let out a long groan before suddenly going silent halfway through.
