Shrek is actually a childhood classic for me. I have a soft spot for it. Less that it's good and makes me happy but more of remembering my cousin quote it to me constantly. But this is a review not a story time. First of all let's cover the gross out humor. The first few seconds is nothing but it and it goes on the entire movie. I hate gross out humor. That's why I will never make a stupid fart or burp joke ever. I don't hate adult jokes; I just hate dumb and childish ones. Many good kids don't have adult jokes and if they do they can go over kids heads. So, the adult humor is just as bad as the gross out humor. The memes are good. Something that I noticed is that most of them are within the first 20 minutes beside one. The ogers are like onions meme. The movie isn't as good as the memes. Even after all that I said about the stupid jokes, I can really look at this movie and call it 'harmless'. It isn't offensively bad or is it really good. It's just average. Shrek is average. -Lays
