Anyway, Ezekiel's main emotional support over the years was a snake that he's promised himself to keep alive for almost 8 years now. He consider's it his best friend despite the fact that it's still tries to bite him a few times because he refuses to de-fang the snake he calls Xavier. Although this, he would lose it if someone ended up killing his snake.
Ikr. Ezekiel has always loved snakes he was just never allowed to get one. He's raised Xavier from an egg. So it's one of the most precious things to him.

Xavier: *he sticks his tongue out at her*
Ezekiel: he seems to be calm with you. You know most people aren't as calm with a big snake like him.
Ezekiel: that is the case but they really don't attack unless they feel threatened. And plus they give you a warning in advance.
Ezekiel: Well... that's something new to me. *He puts his snake back in it's tank*
Ezekiel: I'm a pretty secluded person... It isn't common that I hang out with somebody else without warning something from me.

Ezekiel: now that I think about it, I need to get to know my brother again. I can tell he's changed a lot for the better. But it makes me feel like we did a switch in life styles.
Ezekiel: maybe later... I've been avoiding him lately. Not that I want to but I don't want to add to the stress that he already has. Nor risk the details of what I do for a living. I've been lying to him about what I do for a while.

Ezekiel: oh thanks. *he walks up to the counter and signals her to follow*
Cashier: that would be (random high number) dollars.
Ezekiel: *he cringed at the price then looked at Luna*
Ezekiel: *the pills are paid for and he takes them* thank you very much.
Ezekiel: I could stay up longer to hang out if you want before I go to bed.
Ezekiel: If ya want. I mean you don't have to if you don't want to.
Ezekiel: Just don't let your brother know. *he chuckled*
-and they are on there way to the bar-
Ezekiel: It is now? Well you have gotten drunk before right? If not you are going to be on a roller coaster.

-they arrive at the bar-

Ezekiel: nice choice. *He asks the bar tender for red wine and Gin*
Ezekiel: yes but no. It's more of I don't drink very often but I am known around here. Apparently people are very sexually induced after they're intoxicated. I do it for my job not to drink though I do get off offered them very often.
Ezekiel: but don't worry. I got your back. I also have connections.
-they get their drinks-
Ezekiel: bottoms up *he raises the glass shot and takes a shot of gin*
Ezekiel: yeah they're just fermented fruit. *He takes another shot* burns a little tho. I don't really know how you get addicted to this stuff.
Luna:eh idk *she takes another shot, and then a few seconds later, she felt something rubbing her tail* *she bit her lip* W-wha t-the F-Frick

Luna:*she was slowly but surely getting into heat* oh God no *she starts whimpering and runs to the bathroom*

Luna:*she looks at him, her face as red as a cherry* *she runs up to him and grabs him, tping them into her room, locking the door and pinning him to it*

Luna:*she was walking by her arms crossed and her head looking at the ground, she was walking slowly, and wasn't smiling*
Ezekiel: *he was on his way to his night club job until he noticed Luna in the distance* oh it wouldn't hurt to say hi. *He walks over to Luna* hey are you okay?
Luna:*she looked at him, her eyes were dull, her skin was pale as snow, and her hair was turning a dull navy blue*
Luna: I have to go back up to the moon soon, to rest..................................................My body can't handle being here anymore
(I finished another book for another class called "Little Tree" and everyone he loved at the end died)
Luna: what I mean is, I can't be here for very long. I'm going to go back to the moon and go into a deep slumber

Ezekiel: well..... *he looks down conflicted* good luck I guess.... *he hugged her tightly*
Ezekiel: It's fine. I'd rather you get better than get worse and... stay here...
Ezekiel: okay *he mumbles to himself* but I can't promise I'll survive long enough. (since his lifestyle is unstable and it isn't too uncommon for him to get beat to a pulp)
Ezekiel: *he tears up but wipes them away quickly like they were never there* it's alright Luna. I'll be waiting.
Ezekiel: *mind: I don't want you t go either. Ugh this what I meant by vulnerable. Even a friend makes you vulnerable, what was I thinking letting someone in* Well I rather have you alive.
Ezekiel: *he watches silently as she fades out of his grasp* .........
Ezekiel: ...... *he thought on those 3 words* .... do I?..... *he contemplated through out the rest of the night. No matter where he was, at work or at home. He thought about it silently*
Ezekiel: *he went outside and stared at the moon* good night Luna....
Ezekiel: *he's outside sitting on the grass staring at the full moon with his precious snake* .......
-there was a little whisper behind him, whispering in his ear, the voice was faint and you couldn't tell who that voice was since it was so faint-
-"Ez, Ez"-
-there as a glowing navy blue of light behind him, and it swooped right in front of him, the aura of it was warm and welcoming, but it started to move away from him-
Ezekiel: huh? *he got up and picked up his snake and followed the aura*
-the light brought them to the beach still calling out his name but now was a little bit louder, and little bit more recognizable-
-the voice stoped and the light started to turn into a person-
Luna:*she fades into existance, she looks better than ever*

Ezekiel: Luna, i-is that really you? *he put a hand on her cheek*

Luna:*she smiled a little an leans into his touch* who else would it be.
Ezekiel: *he smiled brightly and hugged her tightly* I missed you so much!
Ezekiel: It's great to have you back.
Xavier: *sticks out his tongue and slightly nods*
Luna:even when I was in my deep slumber, I just couldn't stop thinking about you
Ezekiel: *he lets go* I couldn't stop thinking about you either. You were kind of imprinted in my brain. So were some words...
Ezekiel: umm *he rubbed his arm* you said 3 words right before you faded away... "I love you" was it not?
Ezekiel: well ... I'm still debating this after five years and I'm actually scared to consider it... I know saying what I'm about say s probably pointless because of my lifestyle but.... I think I'm falling for you too...
Ezekiel: *he blushes a little* Yes but that doesn't mean we're officially a thing. I'm still thinking. There are reasons I try not to let relationships get as far as this one.
Luna:hey I understand, I said that and now your questioning everything

Ezekiel: I'm just insecure about the whole thing. But I've always been insecure when I was little... It just makes me feel like a little kid again before my life went to hell in a hay basket. Well not like my life wasn't bad before that happened.

-they go to put Xavier back in his tank, while you're there you notice a fair amount of bandages-
Ezekiel: there you go friend.
Ezekiel: oh yeah. I got robbed about a week ago on my way home. *he lifts up his shirt to show bandages wrapped around his stomach* I got shanked for "not giving him all the money I had on me". I got stabbed 5 time in the stomach. Luckily someone was nice enough to call the ambulance before I completely passed out. I think that person her stabbed me was a drug addict. I think he was going through a withdrawl and was losing it.
Luna:yeah but I wanna show that person to not mess with someone I love
Ezekiel: It's fine. Really, I try not to hate others no matter what they did because there is supposedly "good in everyone". At least that was my sister's philosophy...
Luna:*she nods* again I'm so sorry for leave you all of those years ago
Ezekiel: It's alright. I'm glad you're feeling better. *he opens the door for her*
Ezekiel: *he locks his door and catches up* sorry if I move slower than usual. I was told to take it easy.

Luna:has anything major happened, except for you being robbed

Ezekiel: I reconciled with my brother. I tried to become friends with your brother but that didn't happen but I did become friends with his boyfriend. I found my sister's official grave stone.

(*pats* just know that I would never break up the two unless you wanted to. Because they are the first ever ship I've had with another person)
-they arrive at the resturant-
Ezekiel: *opens the door* after you
Ezekiel: *he orders them a able and they get led yo they're seat* *he pulls out the chair for her*
Ezekiel: *he takes his own seat* thanks for taking time out of your night to spend time with me.
Ezekiel: well when you haven't seen this person in years it kind of it.
Ezekiel: hehe but hey at least you're back. How often are those slumbers?
Ezekiel: nice to know. Humans can't really do that kind of stuff. Considering our lives are very short.
Ezekiel: actually now that I think about it. What is your range in age?
Luna:very long, I seem to he in my mid 20s but I'm actually very very very old
(I can't say her age because then um that could get weird, also how old is Ez)
(well it's been 5 years and in the bio he had, he was alread in his late 20's so now he is a pretty fit and young looking 33 year old. But he looks 10 years younger to me.)

Luna:so Im actually 25,375 years old
Ezekiel: Interesting. I'm ten years older than I actually look. 33 years old.
Ezekiel: that's very high. A lot older than me. But I do no not descriminate.
Luna:interesting, and um someday I will have to retire from being the guardian of the Moon, same with Alta. When that happen we won't die but we will become part of your race and will loose the old age becoming earthling ages
Ezekiel: I'm pretty sure when that happens I'll be dead and gone.
Ezekiel: hm interesting. Do other guardians also do that and do you know any more?
Luna:I don't know all of them but I know one that is married to a goddess
Ezekiel: Oh I think that's pretty cool. To marry a goddess, one of the most powerful things on this earth.
Luna:they I've in the star realm though so they don't come out that often
Luna:I've been there only once and it is very beautiful, and here's the thing this girl didn't even know she was a goddess, she was just a regular girl
Ezekiel: ai half animal, half human creatures don't really get treated well by humans from what I've seen... Was she okay?
Ezekiel: *he looks down having a few bad bad memories flood his mind* ....

Luna:*they had their dinner, and is walking with Ez*

Ezekiel: mmm sorry I seemed off during the abuse topic. Itwas unlike me considering that I can talk bout a lot of messed up stuff like it was normal.
Ezekiel: I just hate the topic of abuse considering that I lived in an abusive household.
Ezekiel: so when I was younger I lived with my Mom, Dad, Older brother Zachary and twin sister Elisa. In all honesty the person who really raised me and my sister was Zachary. Zachary was probably the most mature out of everyone in the house hold. I mean our mom was never really there, she was always working late. And Dad oh how I hated him. He didn't do crap except torment us. It wasn't just the alcohol that made him such a horrible person. He's always been one and always will be. At least mom tried to protect us.
Ezekiel: It took a while to try and make sense of why our mom would stay with him. It was obvious that she was scared of him. I mean, it wasn't uncommon to here them yelling at each other until Dad would decide to hit mom for being "disrespectful". Or just beating her because he felt that our trash life was her fault for getting pregnant with Zachary when they were supposed teens.
Ezekiel: and so since our grandparents on both sides were so mad at them they forced them to keep the baby and get married.
Ezekiel: when Zachary found that out that destroyed his self-esteem. It felt like all of our problems was his own fault for being born like he had any control. And it wasn't like our dad didn't hint at it. I know a couple of times Zachary thought about running away but never did it because he wanted to protect me and my sister. The plan was then when he turned 18 he would take total custody of me and my sister.
Ezekiel: it's actually really sad to only see your brother as a father figure. He'd buy us gifts for our birthday, put us to bed, cook us breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He's even taken hits for us when dad was in a raging drunk mode. And when I say hits I mean hard ones like having a tooth knocked out, black eye, or being punched in the stomach hard enough to make you barf. When they were directed at me or my sister.
Ezekiel: It made me a quiet person and someone with trust issues. The only real emotional support we had was Elisa. She was some how always happy. Maybe she was just naive and oblivious but she was such a sweetheart. And when one of us were sick or beaten up she would care us back to health. She's actually the only one that never really got hurt, at least not physically. But she was very emotionally manipulated.
Ezekiel: And I soon learned that someone with such a kind heart as her could not survive in such a harsh place. But she probably was the mostly emotionally stable. Her main problem was mostly trouble sleeping from always hearing our parents fight or seeing mom or Zachary covered in bruises. So my brother bought her music box I say to this day that was probably her favorite gift in the world.

Ezekiel: ....... But I wouldn't know. *he teared up* She.... She's dead.... It's sad to know that the rare goods in my life were stolen from me.
Ezekiel: *he leans into her chest* After seeing my sister the was she way... anything from the age of 7 to 16 my mind decided it was so bad, I can't remember it....
Ezekiel: *he slowly hugs her back* Sometimes I wonder if things could have ended differently. Sometimes I wish I knew what happened to me from me being 7 to 16 but I'm afraid I'll break and/or sickened from what I hear. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a screw up....
Ezekiel: .... but these are just random trauma thoughts..... I'm not depressed or anything, I'm just traumatized at the least... I can't change what has happened.
Ezekiel: *he thinks for a bit* .... sure. It can't hurt for tonight.
-they walk to his house and Ezekiel unlocks the door to let them in-
Ezekiel: * he walks in and lock the door behind him.* well make yourself at home for tonight. I know this place isn't much but it's the most I can afford for right now. * he goes over to Xavier stank to feed him*
Ezekiel: Well yeah if I'm going to own something I might as well make it a place that is comfortable. And makes me feel safe.
Ezekiel: I hope you like it. this is always how I wanted my house to look just maybe a bit bigger than what I have
Ezekiel: wait a sec *he goes in the bathroom to change into pjs then comes back out*
Ezekiel: well not really having magic other than being able to summon things suck.

Ezekiel: you should get to bed. *he get in the bed and pats the space beside him*
Ezekiel: *he tenses up but let her do it and covers them in a blanket*
Ezekiel: *he pets her head tries to fall asleep, but it takes over and hour because he ran out of sleeping pills*
(I have a zoom meeting in less than an hour, and the theme is to show off our collections and I HAVE 3 COLLECTIONS TO SHOW OFF, yes I'm a hoarder)
