when i say a lot of art community is fatphobic, i ditn mean that uf you can only draw skinny peopel ur fatphobic. but people who refuse to ever learn are. people who also participate in blatant fatphobia in itherways that not only artist do. people who put others down for drawing a character as fat or havign a lot of fat characters. that is fatphobia in the art community and i have seen it a lot.

drawing fat people is very different from drawing skinny people. they are just generally built different (😈🔥) so you have to learn a lot fo stuff to do it properly. but its important to learn, because skinny is not the default. unfortunately thats how a lot of people (even unintentionally) see it. people learn to draw skinny people first, and a lot of times never learn to draw anythign more

a lot of people are the sam about poc in art. the same with dissing someone fir drawing a character that us originally white as a poc. people not engaging with media that is primarily poc. seeing white as the default. not learnign how to draw poc. its a huge problem in the art community even among people who dont intentionally do things this way. this was how i kearned, white skinny able bodied peopel was what i kearned to draw first. it took me years to even start learning anything else. and there is barely ever representation for disabled people in art. and when there is, its often times incorrectly portrayed
