You visit their graves, tears in your eyes. You try not to thing about their deaths too much, but... It’s impossible. Their deaths flash before your eyes, and you run back to your car, uncontrollably sobbing. You start to feel queasy, and you see the world fade to black........ You laugh along with your friends, walking alongside the buildings of New York. Nicole, Mason, Ashlynn, Carter, Chloe and you, Violet. You and all of them have just graduated from high school, and you all live in the wonderful city of New York. They all walk up to your building, riding the elevator and entering your giant apartment. Nicole dives for the couches, and you follow. “OMG Vi, this is the softest couch I have EVER been on! Sweet!” You laugh and say, “Nikki, you say that every single time!” You yeet a pillow at her. Nicole giggles and says: “Yo Mason, grab us some coke!” Mason puts on a goofy face and says: “Comin’ right at’cha!” We catch the cans and and sip them in delight. and you yell: “MOVIE TIME!!” Your friends fight for the remote, Carter winning it. “Yes!” Nicole says. “Carter puts on the best movies!” We all laugh and snuggle down to watch ATLA. Then Nicole says (in the middle of the ‘Sokka and the cactus juice’ scene), “I need to go to the bathroom.” She skips off, and closes the door. A few minutes later.. You hear a scream. “It came from the bathroom! “Wait...“ “Oh no...” NICOLE!” You all stampede to the bathroom, and you slowly open the door....... You gasp and scream out loud. “OH MY LORD NICOLE!” You step into the blood splattered bathroom. Nicole’s body lying on the floor. Just sitting there. Covered with blood. You start to sob and kneel down. Nicole’s voice says: “ Didn’t s-see wh-who did-do-diii.....” You carry her body, and slowly turn your body around to face your friends. They all freeze. Just freeze. You look down then quickly look up, because looking down would mean looking at...at...her body. 2 Hours Later...

You wave them inside, but you notice Carter looks a little...blue. Literally! You grab him and steer him toward the kitchen. You grab him a cup of water and he drinks it, color slowly coming back to his face. You sigh and say: “ We’d better get dressed for the gala today..” You enter the dressing room and put on a black dress and braid your hair. You grab some ‘ballerina’ shoes, as you call them, and hastily put on a black butterfly hair clip. You put some foundation and lip gloss and-

-Come out of the room. The others are also dressed in black, and you know the reason. They all do. It might be a gala..but....... You get pulled out of your thoughts when Ashlynn says: “We’d better go..” One hour later.. You all arrive at the gala, but notice Carter is missing. You ask where he is, and Chloe says: “He decided not to come, i suppose he is visiting the...you know...” You sigh and say, “I’m going to grab some cokes.” You rush into the crowd, but not toward the drinks. Instead, you head toward the phone, and dial Carter’s number. It heads to voicemail. “That’s weird,” you say, “Carter always picks up his phone!” You head toward the car, grabbing the door handle and yanking it open. One hour later.. You peek inside the door to see if Carter is there, but you can’t see him from where you’re at.
