If you’re thinking about coming out to your parents.... If your parents are the teens eyes bit homophobic or abusive I recommend you don’t come out to them. It is better to wait until you can legally move out so you have a safe place to be if they don’t accept you. If you really want to come out to them maybe do it on April fools day and if you get a bad reaction just say it was a joke. I hope anyone that comes out has family that accept them for who they are and they don’t need to even read my stupid paragraph that’s probably filled with useless information. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and if you’re coming out please stay safe and I hope you’ll be accepted by your family.
