Flare's mother died when he was young in an unnatural fire tornado. Flare chased after the tornado for hours, finally jumping into the tornado and finding his mother. Before he could pull her out and sacrifice himself for her she told him to keep running and never give up, he will be useful someday he just needs to be brave, then she pushed him out and the tornado continued on its path. Flare continued chasing after to tornado, eventually ending its path at the ocean, disappearing from sight. Five years later, Flare goes to her grave above the ocean, close to crying and completely breaking down, the wind whips around him and his mothers spirit appears above the ocean, she smiles lightly to him and tells him he has made her proud, that she is always watching and that he should never give up on what he needs, before disappearing again.
