Yoo hi there, gimme a little time on this please
BTW let me know, is there something regarding this art piece you're not completely satisfied with?
Artstyle
As this artstyle is consistent with your other pieces i consider that to be your original artstyle. And yeah it's certainly consistent in almost every aspect, which is a good thing. The only question that arises here is if you're satisfied with your way of stylizing the world. Or if you feel like "man, something about this seems off"
Shading
I consider this to be better shading, since it's not all over the place. The lightsource comes from the left and the shadows follow. You correctly shaded the face under the hair and also the eyes.
Only thing I see is the shading on the doggo, for example on the inside of the ears, under the hair, on the neck, on the paws and tail. I think there is some shading missing.. But it's nothing disastrous. Since the floor is black, there is no drop shadow, so we can ignore that
Color
Is not really necessary to review, since it's within the context of your consistent art style. But in general I'd say that you use matte colors, which is really relaxing for the eye. They're also somewhat brownish sepiaish in general IMO, which gives it a kind of washed out look. I guess you don't try to accomplish anything with it, you just like how it looks and I can approve of that. Not everything has to make sense, if it looks good it just is and period
Of course other interpretations would have been as valid as this one. Anxiety can be displayed dramatic as well. When you don't know what's real any more. In that case a change in color pick would maybe break with your art style but would that be a problem if it fits the message. Since I don't know if these things are an option for you due to a pretty specific artstyle that you've developed, I am not sure if I can go further with my assessment
This can be one goal for you: Get more confident with shading! Look, you don't have to do it 100% right, 80% is really enough. The only question you have to ask yourself is this one: If the light is coming from there, will it reach this specific place (example doggo ear)? If not, darken it
So, practice this specifically
