LinkYour oc adopted Lucas. One day, when you took him to the beach, he injured himself badly, splitting open the skin on his shoulder so badly he would need stitches. You knew he had an intense fear of needles and the like, so you had to try and comfort him the best you could.

Pearl soothed Lucas gently. "It's okay, it's okay," she whispered. "If you're good we'll go get ice cream after." pearl rocked lucas back and forth as she ran to her car

"You're gonna be okay sweetheart." pearl drove to the hospital and rushed in. "This boy needs stitches. STAT."
pearl exhaled slowly, then broke down crying. "i just love him so much," she sobbed
"no, baby. i fell on the counter and hit my head. i needed 20 stitches. we can make you fall asleep during it?"
"yes, thank you. go ahead." pearl sat down and held her head. she groaned. "i'm working on a migraine."
