the ability to say oh, i dont wanna worry about this right now and turn a blind eye comes from privilege
because people experiencing that oppression can't just ignore it. they can't not worry about it. it's not something that turns off once you stop paying attention to it, if anything it gets worse

the people saying that don't know what it's like to experience this yet they feel like they somehow know enough about it to speak over the people experiencing it, and labelling our experiences as "not a problem" just because it doesn't hurt them
