Finished my first art doll! It’s Trico from the last guardian.

His neck is a little thin but overall I’m really happy with how he turned out
Ty!! Tbh I expected it to turn out shit. I was worried the body wouldn’t stand, the armature would break, or the head would be too heavy for the rest of the body to handle. But none of that happened so yAy!
That's awesome! Do you have any tips for making art dolls? The only doll related things i've ever been able to make without giving up or realising that I don't have the supplies for are plushies (which i'm actually pretty good at not to brag XD)
Well I have a few tips
•When making the wire base, always make sure to wrap 2 wires around each other to make them stronger.
•After baking the clay, leave it there and don’t touch it for about an hour, as it can break easily when it’s not cooled down.
•Before hot gluing the head to the wire, build up the back end with soft clay, to balance it out, making sure the head doesn’t cause the whole thing to fall.
•Use acrylic paints for the clay
•Male sure to always bake the clay by itself with no other materials.
