Orphiel ran a hand through his wing, pulling leaves and dirt out of the feathers. He sighed, stretching and glancing over to Jasmine. A small smile formed on his face. “Hmmh, you look like relaxed. What’s on your mind?”

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair with an exaggerated pout. “Ph, can’t imagine why. There’s so much /dirt/, I can feel it getting caught in my feathers.” He wagged his wing around for emphasis, shaking out small specks of brown. “I guess it’s different for you, since you’re so high off the ground, though.” His pout changed back into his teasing smile.

“It’s aaawful, we both get half the package but at least you get strong legs! I can’t even fly!” He threw up his arms dramatically and slumped forward to run his hand through the water. “At least I’m pretty. It takes hard work to maintain this level of beauty, especially with a wing to take care of.” He spoke with an airy tone, able to comfortably joke around.

Orphiel hummed softly. “You think so? I find them kind of gross. They’re so slimy and... fishy.”

“And look like /that/? No thank you, I quite enjoy how I look now.” He scooted over, closer to Jasmine and tilted his head curiously. “Soo, how have you been? Meet any new people? Make any new friends?”

“Oh, what are you, a disney princess? Being part animal just isn’t enough, huh.” He grinned wider. “We should go out sometime, try to meet new people. We can say the animal bits are some extreme cosplay or something, it would be fun!!~”

He pat her on the shoulder lightly, shrugging. “Well, we’ll face that problem once we get to it. People will believe anything if they’re desperate for an answer. We’ll be fiiine, you’ll have fun, I promise!!~”

Orphiel pumped a fist into the air and cheered. "Alright!! Let's go, there's this cute little cafe-bar type of place, it's /adorable/..." He trailed off and stood up, motioning for Jasmine to follow.
