I own an anole lizard and he's a very good pet. 1. They're good company. If I ever feel sad, I take my anole out of its cage and talk to it, and talk to it, and I feel better. They are a bit curious and love to explore, so be careful when taking it out of its cage. 2. They're fun to watch. When I feed mine, it lashes out at that little cricket like a lil' velociraptor. It's very fun watch when stressed or bored. 3. They're cheap. At my pet store, they're only 5 dollars an animal. Now you don't have to go out and buy that expensive iguana, right?? Your parents must be happy.
