"really! happy early birthday then!! I'm 18, i have a younger brother who's 8."

uwu)) Once chris got back he quickly pulled up a recipe and started making the food, and was done within 20 minutes. he went over to where elijah was and shook him a bit "i got some food ready"

"c'mon, I made something to eat, it'll hopefully wake you up a bit too. it's spicy, so i hope you're okay with that"

"Okay, good!!" He sat down at the table and grabbed a couple pairs of chopsticks, and forks just in case.

He smiled. "yeah! no problem. I've been cooking for about 5 years."

"great!! that gives me something else to do with my life, heh. Oh! another question, my brother's coming over here tomorrow. He's been living with a couple of friends for school since our schools are so far away from each other, and he usually hangs with me over the weekend. Is that alright?"

chris smiles "Thanks!! It's been a while since i made it, usually my friend's family does."

"aw thank you so much!! you're so nice..."

chris felt himself freeze up. god damn he was already in love. he hummed, not knowing what to say, and continued to eat. "hmm... tell me about yourself, like your family and stuff?" he tried to change subjects to lengthen the conversation

"oi, that's tough. they're your family, they should've been accepting of you."

"I know how it feels to lose family. My dad was abusive, thankfully he died before he could hurt Felix... my parents both died in a fire..." he sighed.

He returned it, a couple of tears slipping from his eyes. "I-it's fine, really. I'm sorry we both live such crappy lives when it comes to family"

Chris forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah. uhm, any ideas to talk about?"

"nope! I'm openly gay, although i have dated before."
