I mean call me an idiot or whatever cuz I draw in an anime-sorta style for saying this but I mean 1. Realism is pretty hard for FA and most of the stuff is pretty convincing, 2. there,,,, are other things featured other than furry head bops and anime??? stuff that looks good gets featured, and it’s sorta hard to sift through anims or press the random button a lot
But yeah I think they should really feature less anonymous things imo cuz they don’t (sorry for sayin this) really deserve it most of the time, features SHOULD be used for really good art or animation (which jut so happens to be mostly realism and anime. That doesn’t excuse the headbops tho)

i feel as though we shouldnt try to supress some artists works because thats really discouraging to those that try their best
and i understand why you would want things from outside of those catagories to get featured
but you shouldnt try to stop the featuring of the hard work put into the animations that are of those genres too
fa never features things just because its based off or created off of those genres because it throws off the point of a feature and what this website really stands for
a feature is something you earn through hard work and thats what ive seen through most of the featured posts

i don't think he's saying "NeVER feature anime/furry/etc related things!!"
the point is supposed to be that there should be more variety, and not ONLY those types of art should be featured
I personally believe the things that are featured these days take time and effort, and that's all that matters.
FlipAnim notices stuff that might've taken hours, maybe even days to complete, whether it's anime, realism, or not, I can tell he pays attention to stuff like that.
In the end, he's the creator, and he features what he wants.
