haven't you ever heard of Tilikum? He was an orca who killed two trainers and a guy was found dead on his back.
Sounds horrible, right? Really brings "killer" to killer whale.
But what most people don't know (unless you've watched the movie Black Fish) is that when Tilikum was two years old, he witnessed the slaughter of his entire pod (including his parents) and was then captured and taken to a tiny tank. He was then bought by Seaworld and was severely depressed.
And he snapped.
Remember that he was a CHILD when he saw his ENTIRE FAMILY killed in front of him. And I know this is accurate because I read a Time magazine concerning the animal mind (The Animal Mind: What they're thinking and feeling, and how to understand them, by
so no. Seaworld is not a good corporation to be trusted. If they didn't have the various animals that they use for shows, and instead funded projects (not created by them) to help various sea creatures, then yeah! i would wholeheartedly enjoy this theme park. But I digress. Seaworld is not a good company in regards to animal rights.

Orca, you were one of my first friends on fa and I would like it to stay that way. Please, donāt say or do anything stupid. I understand u have beliefs and itās ok to think what u want to think as long as you donāt do any of the above. (At least in my book)
I donāt know much about seaworld so I canāt really comment on it although I know it did some not-so-great stuff ://
