When she was young, she wanted to work as a scientist. She worked hard and finally it came true. But the lab she went to was closed down for 10 years because of illegal testing. It opened up the day she graduated, and she thought that was strange. But all the other labs would not take her. So she joined that other one instead. One day when she was working with chemicals, one her fellow workers was staring at her. She asked why and they asked, "Have you gotten your flu shot?" She said no because she never got one before. Her fellow working then, while Vimee's back was turned, injected a chemical into her arm, causing it to fall off and her hair to turn transparent. She thought nothing of it until she got home. When she noticed her hair, she just shrugged it off. But when she noticed her arm, she started freaking out. She went to work the next day and asked the worker what they did. They said they didn't do anything. Later, the same worker knocked her out and messed up her face.
