Cody cocks his head to the side, confused, he squints his eyes to focus on the silhouette in his doorway, that was for sure a dog,the outline of it's ears gave it away, but cody felt that something was, off. It just sat there, staring at him, it didn't come into his room, but it stared at him, half of it's body hidden by the left side of his doorframe, only half of it's face, and some of it's arm was visible to the boy. cody adjusts his eyesight, once he does, his stomach drops into his waist, he yelps and stumbles backwards,further into bed. That dog, wasn't any ordinary dog, it's eyes were penetrating, its pupils the size of pennies, that's the first thing cody noticed, other than it's gnarly, humanoid smile.

Cody tucks himself into his covers, a whimper escaping his lips as he yields his knees upwards, covering the dog up so he can't see it anymore. But it's still there. That's what's freaking him out so much, it isn't moving, not since it sat down, which was a few minutes ago,, but shouldn't it have moved by now? atleast a yawn? He ponders for a moment, his heart thumping and humping in his chest, he gently puts his knees back down, The dog was still there, hasn't moved an inch.

cody decides to turn over, and lie on his side so he can catch some z's, he tugs the blanket over his head, closes his eyes, and waits for himself to drift off to sleep. As soon as he's just about to fall right back to sleep, he hears something pitter patter against his carpeted floor, No, it can't be, No. cody thinks to himself, but the breathing at the foot of his bed only proves the situation worse, the dog slumps down once again, this time it's ears perking upwards, and BOTH. of it's eyes fixated on cody.

Cody can feel it's eyes digging into his soul, he whines and turns over again, curling up into a ball, the blanket still tugged over majorady of his body. The dog at the end of his bed is almost disturbingly quiet, the breathing quickly coming to a stop, but cody can still feel it's eyes on him, it's still staring at him with those, unnerving eyes.

Before the boy knows it, he's awake with the sunlight shining on his face, he jolts upwards and rubs his eyes, darting them around the room shortly after. There's NO signs of that dog from last night, none. No paw prints, no slobber on the carpet below his feet, Nothing. Cody winces through the gap in his teeth, scratching the back of his neck in a worry.

His stomach does a somersault just thinking about what he saw last night, the fact that there's no evidence left behind makes cody feel sick, he hops out of bed and stretches his arms with a grunt He decides he'll call who knows him most, sierra, and he'll tell her about what happened, he prays that she won't post it on her 20 blogs about him, he sighs, eyeing his nightstand and dragging his phone into his hand, using his other hand to rub his eye.

Cody stumbles out of the bedroom, unlocking his phone with his fingertip, mindlessly walking into his kitchen, where that shatter noise came from last night. He eyes the room, once again, no signs of that dog. He gulps, scratching his neck and opening the dialpad, he types in sierra's number, muttering under his breath ' please, pick up. ' and hitting the call button.

' ring, ring,, ' shortly after, the phone blares into his ear, " Codykins! Why're you calling me so early? " sierra rambles, her voice much too fast paced to understand, cody gives a grumble, not out of annoyance or anger, rather out of confusion, he was unable to process things properly at the moment. " Cody? " sierra repeats, " Sierra, hey,, " cody's voice cracks as he speaks, he just woke up, so it's no surprise it's so deep. " Hi! " sierra grins, though cody couldn't see it through the screen. " Sierra, something.. crazy happened last night, i-i-... don'tt.. really know how to explain it, but i'll try my best, i don't know who else to call about it. " cody stumbles over his words, his breathing quickening just from thinking about what happened last night, That dog's eyes are burned into his head, they shook him real bad, he doesn't know why, so why would sierra?

" OH? what's the matter? " sierra questions, concern taints her voice. " Alright, uhm-- " Cody starts, his mind blurry from him just hopping out of bed, he now tries to explain the events that took place last night. After a bit, and after cody's tried his best to explain what happened, he hangs up the phone, sierra urgently requested that she should come over, cody sets the phone down onto his kitchen counter, a sigh escaping his lips, that are pressed together.

" please, god.. " Cody mutters under his breath, he begs that he's not going insane, that's the last thing he wants, Sometime later, his doorbell rings a happy tune, it sounds like binary code. Cody drags himself upwards, walking over to the door, and opening it.. as he expected, it was sierra, she drags him into a hug, " Oh my codykins, i'm so glad you're okay! " she kisses his forehead, he gently pushes himself out of her grip, giving an awkward grin. " So, is there.. like, a specific reason why you came here? " cody questions, he was curious to why she'd come to urgently. " Well, because i'm worried, silly ! " sierra reassures, petting cody's soft, curly hair. " That' fair, come on in,i-- guess?.. " cody shrugs, walking into his home. " Okay, so.. um. " cody ponders, tapping a finger to his chin, how would he explain what happened? he goes deep into thought, zoning out and staring directly into sierra's eyes, her head slightly tilted.

" So, like the eyes, huh? " Cody snaps out of it, shaking his head. " what? no. " he barks, his eyes narrowed, his vision kinda blurry from him zoning out so much. Sierra snickers, bumping cody with her elbow and sits down into a chair, cody follows and sits into the chair next to her. " So, i'm not sure what to do, but.. i already told you what happened " cody brings an index finger, curling it over his lips and resting his elbow onto the counter. " yeah, i'm kinda blank on what i came here to do. " sierra mutters, shrugging her shoulders. Cody sighs, " Cody, have you taken any.. drugs lately? " Cody turns to sierra, " uhm--.. no ? " cody awkwardly whinces through the gap in his teeth. " Do you want a coffee? " cody pushes himself out of his chair, walking over to his coffee machine. Sierra nods. (GOOD GOD IDONTKNOW WWHERE. TO GO WWITH. THSIS i might time skip eelll oh el)

( big fat time skip. ) " Bye-Bye! " sierra waves, walking out to her car, opening the door, and slipping in. Cody waves, sighing, it was dark out, and he worried what happened last night, would happen again. He walks back into the home, slamming the door behind him with a flinch, he was iffy, and easy to scare at the moment. Cody stumbles back into his room, yawning and flopping onto his bed. " euugh.. " cody groans, his eyes flutter shut, he wraps himself into his blankets lazily, giving a puff out of his nose. Quicker than he can process, he jerks awake, that same noise emitting from the hallway, ' click, click.. ' The same paws walk on the same floor as before, the sound was almost identical as what he heard last night. He whines, tucking himself into his sheets, all he could hear was his own panting and breathing, He knows that dog is staring at him, even while it's walking down the hallway.

The dog slumps down at the doorway, it's breathing much louder than it was last night, Good god, was this a dream? Cody ponders to himself, his mind races in a panic, he turns onto his side, and wraps himself completely in the blanket, he's trembling, he's shaking out of fear. Cody hears something, something different from what he heard last night. He didn't just hear it, but he felt what that dog did. The dog sprinted, and hopped onto cody's bed, this causing cody to jerk up, but the dog's weight is too much, it's paws are roughly jabbed into his upper arms, cody's thrashed around so much, that the blanket is torn from his face, forcing him to stare directly into the dog's face, cody can feel it's breath directly on his own face, Cody damn near pisses himself, the dog bares it's humanoid teeth, sharp, but still oddly humanoid. It thrashes it's head in cody's direction, lunging into his face.

Coy jolts awake, his breathing heaves in his chest, he holds a hand over his chest, that was a dream, thatw as a dream, and that's good. Cody sighs, pushing himself upwards, holding his hands over his face with a grunt. His head hurt real bad, more-so his face, that shouldn't hurt though, it stung, it burned, like a cut. he groans, flopping back onto his bed, his head hitting the frame. " ow ! " he barks, rubbing the back of his head, he angirly gets out of bed, his heart stil racing from the ' dream ' he had, atleast he assumes it was a dream, he hopes it was. He stumbles out of his room, he needed to see why his face was hurting so much, he fumbles into his bathroom, rubbing his eyes, and staring at himself in the mirror. What he saw wasn't pretty, i'm sure sierra or gwen wouldn't think it was pretty if they saw it either, if they could see it. his heart thumping in his chest, he groans from the impact his head made with the wall, his eyes squint shut, he pries them open, he wasn't met with the same outcome he saw before, his face was as clean as it should be, Then how, and why did it hurt so bad? cody thought, the pain seemed to be gone, maybe he's hallucinating, maybe he's going insane, he doesn't know. Cody groans, rubbing his head and staring into the mirror, his arms pressed against the sink, he stares at himself, he looks no different than he did before, that's good.

" he mumbles, walking out of the bathroom, the static image of that dog lingers in his head, was it a dream? he FELT it on him, he smelled it's dog breath, he felt his face seconds ago, what was happening to him? and why? he ponders,
