They looked at him, their scowl quickly becoming a smile "Hi papa!"

They'd gently hug back "Upset! Some boy at school said that they were better than me..then I got sent to the principles office for hitting them.."

"Yeah!" They perked up happily.

"Let's go buy some at the parlor!"

"I'll win!" They take off running quickly.

They laugh, skidding to a stop when they reach the car.

"No you're just old-"

They got in the car*

They buckled themselves up "Are too-" They playfully stuck their tongue out at him.

"I get it from dad- Or at least that's what uncle Zhan told me" They giggle.

They lean back in their seat, gently kicking at the floor of the car.

"hmmmmm..what's your favorite flavor?" They were gonna choose whatever Jericho said, that's what they always did.

"Chocolate's my favorite too-"

"I know!" They giggle.

They unbuckled quickly and got out.

"He always buys caramel here- so that!" They follow him inside.

"I thought you wanted chocolate-..?" They tilt their head.

"I've never had that- can I try some of yours"?"

they smile and take a tiny bite, their eyes lighting up "mm!"

They nod "okay!"

They nod in understanding, following behind "Okay!"

They climbed in and buckled up, shutting their own door this time.

They hummed quietly as they ate their ice cream "You think uncle Zhan will be at the house today?"

"Uncle Zhan never comes over anymore- He's always out with baaaaaileyyy" They pouted, the 'bailey' they referred to was Zhan's current lover.

"No! Because he never comes over- and if he doesn't come over he can't give me presents!"

"I know but uncle Zhan has the GOOD presents-"

They laugh "I'm just kidding papa- Well kinda-"

They quickly got out and ran inside.

Levi and Juniper soon came back out, there was someone else with them too. A girl a few years older than Juniper who was hiding behind Levi "Not even gonna come in and say hi?"

Levi sat on the ground by Jericho, leaning against him "You heard me-" he'd gently peck a kiss to Jericho's cheek, Juniper and the other little girl went off somewhere to play "My little sisters here today by the way..Forgot to warn you." Levi says as he rest his head on Jericho.

Levi smiles a bit "So what'd you and the kiddo do today?"

Levi smiled "Awwwwe thanks!" He sat up a bit to take the ice cream "Did Juniper tell you about their little trip to the principles office?"

"You think that's a good idea with how aggressive they're getting?" Levi looked around a bit trying to spot the children but they were out of sight, he was very much a protective parent.

Levi looked at him "That doesn't make me feel any better-" He ate a bit of his ice cream.

"Oh? Why not take Juniper- I don't they've ever met him have they?"

Juniper came running quickly, the other girl following but not looking too happy "Yeah!?"

"Who's that?" They gave a confused look, The other girl walking to Levi and grabbing his hand.

"What? You know you're gonna lose huh?" They gave a proud yet smug smile.

They giggle "but you said you weren't old earlier!"

Juniper gasped and began running after him "THAT'S CHEATINNNNNGGGGG"

They kept running after him.

They skidded to a stop, panting as well.

"S-shush! You cheated!"

"That's cheating-" They walk to the door "Now hurry and knock I wanna meet your friend!"

They stare at the two quietly "So this is uncle Kiri? He has pretty hair." wait- would Sal be in this? I- i really wanna make aggressive baby and mute baby interact)

They smile happily. Sal slowly shuffled to the door peaking out from behind Kirito, tugging down on the end of his shirt wanting to know who was there.

Sal shyly waved, Juniper smiled happily and waved as well "Can we go inside dad...?" They look up at Jericho.

Juniper ran in quickly, Sal stayed clung to Kirito. He was normally clung to Ren when company was over but seeing as Ren was gone Kirito would have to do.

Sal crawled onto the couch and whispered something to Kirito "Who a-are they..?" He never spoke out loud when people were at the house.

Sal looked at Juniper who was bouncing excitedly in place "Their..k-k-kinda scary.." He whispered.

Sal sighs and gently shuffles over to Juniper "H-hi...?" He muttered, jumping when he was met with a loud "Hey!"

Sal sat on the floor, Juniper sitting in front of him as the two began talking. Well it was more of Juniper rambling and Sal quietly listening.

Juniper looked at them curiously "Tell him what?"

They raised an eyebrow and Sal looked over as well. "You're lying-" Juniper says blatantly "I can tell-"

"Adult stuff like what you and dad do in your bedroom or adult stuff as in you just want me to stop being nosy?" Juniper tilted their head, their lack of a filter causing Sal to giggle.

Juniper looked confused "What? I'm just asking!" they shrug, Sal was a giggling mess "W-wow..." he'd actually spoke out loud with company around for once.

Juniper got up and ran off with Sal only to soon poke their head over the back of the couch "Whoa! what is that thing!?"

"Cool! will he be able to do that!?" Juniper went to look at Sal only to see he'd ran upstairs.

"Yeah! Can you do cool stuff like that dad?" Juniper jumped and crawled over the back over the couch to sit beside Jericho. Sal was sitting in his room in the corner.

Sal nodded a little. "Will I get super strong!? That'd be totally super awesome! I could beat up all of the bullies at my school!" Juniper says, their eyes lighting up excitedly.

"They never do anything! They always think i'm lying because i'm a 'trouble maker' They think I'M a bully!" Juniper huffed and crossed their arms.

"Good!" Juniper looked away, her legs gently kicking the side of the couch.

Juniper got quiet before muttering "So..?"

big oof) "I wouldn't tell dad-" Juniper looked at him.

"No- I wouldn't tell anybody. Not even uncle Zhan."

Juniper nodded "Okay...But what if they're really bad people..?"

"Depends on what..?"

"Hm...okay!"

They nod "Okay!"

Juniper waved a bit, Sal waving back.

Sal hesitated before slowly nodding, he felt weird saying he wasn't okay if there were other people in the room.

A little bit of both-) Juniper frowns but nods "yeeeeeeaaaaahhh- But can we come back tomorrow! Oh! or can Sal come over to our house!?"

oof-) "Do you?" Juniper looked at Sal, who looked at Kirito unsure if he should say yes.

"Then......o-okay..." Sal's voice was nearly inaudible, he was trying his best to just let Kiri and nobody else hear him.

Juniper giggled, following Jericho.

Juniper followed him out humming.

"Take a nap- I'm tired."

They cling to him giggling.

Levi curled on the couch asleep, the little girl from earlier had went home. "Hi!- Oh- dad's asleep.." Juniper quieted themselves.

Juniper climbed onto the couch, laying over top both of them.

Juniper smiles, Levi leaning into the hug as he slept.

Juniper slowly dozed off as well.

Juniper was no longer in the living room, the front door being cracked open and Levi was fast asleep.

Juniper was nowhere in sight.

Juniper was indeed at Kirito's house, having been let in by Sal and having an entire excuse for Kiri as to why she was there I'm just gonna- use she/her pronouns for them since yeah riuvh4)

Sal and Juniper jumped, the tiny whispers of the two could be heard from the living room.

"I'm not going to school." Juniper huffed and crossed her arms, Sal just sat quietly as Ren quietly walked downstairs "Jericho- Why the hell are you and your kid in my house this early??" He wasn't very fond of Jericho, being very much jealous of how close he and Kirito were.

Juniper whined and stood up stomper her foot on the ground "no! I wanna stay!" She'd huff and puff, she was already cranky when she woke up normally so this was expected. Sal stood up and walked to Ren whispering a few things to him.

"No! I don't want summer school! And I don't wanna leave! I'm not leaving."

"It's fine- sure" Ren rubbed the sleep from his eyes with a yawn. Juniper kicked and hit at Jericho whining and huffing.

"I wanted to see Sal!" She wiggled and huffed, still kicking at him. A slightly annoyed and very tired Levi stood outside the house waiting "What the actual hell is going on?"

"Bet Ren was super happy to wake up to that huh?" Levi walked back into the house "We gotta get her calmed down and ready for school-.."

"He's jealous of you- You know how he is about Kiri-" Levi yawned and sighed "A bath and tv while I fix her hair is normally enough to calm her down- But today you're on school duty, I'm going back to bed and don't you dare wake me up.." He walked upstairs, Juniper kicking Jericho harshly so he'd set her down.

She kicked her socks off and undressed before hopping into the tub, causing water to splash on the floor and Jericho's feet.

"Yup! And i'll always be that- Well not the tiny part..One day i'm gonna be as big as you!" She says.

"It'll happen- I know it..I'm already almost the tallest in my class! Even taller than most of the boys!"

"Hmmmm I dunno- I miiiiiight"

"How would you know?"

She frowned "Nuh-uh!"

She stuck her tongue out "Nooooo"

She pouted.

She smiled a bit, very obviously much more calm.
