uhm what do i remember
the electrons are in the electron cloud
the electron cloud has 3 layers i think. the 3rd layer is called the valence layer
theres a max number of electrons on each ring, i dont remember how many sorry
the number of protons determines the atomic number, if theres the same number of nuetrons as electrons then the atom has a nuetral charge
lets take tin (sn)
it has 50 protons so its the 50th element lol
