The reason you might not be feeling yourself is you might be having a lot of stress, and witch you're trying to hide, and when that wall breaks it starts pouring out and you try to squeeze it back inside. No, wouldn't quite recommend seeing a therapist yet but when it gets bad, like low self esteem, self harm, suicidal thoughts you should see a therapist.

Maybe try talking to your parents about it, but if you don't feel comfortable to talk about it to your parents try drawing how you feel in a sketch book or walk outside and try to find a way to get away from stress.
