Seeing something like that isn't normal, and it'll obviously mess with you. Brownfire isn't a normal case when it comes to seeing prophecies. When she looks a wolf straight in the eye, she can see their future. That be bad, or good, she can see them all, and it scares her. She murdered her son in fear of him destroying everything. At his funeral, Teakfur, Brownfire's other son, was sobbing at his brother's death, but Brownfire had seen his future already. She knew Teakfur wasn't going to be any different from his brother, so she plotted for the right time to kill him when he was alone. In the meantime, she told her mate, who she trusted, and knew wouldn't tell anyone else. She told him how she killed their son, and she can still hear and see him like he was alive.

Her mate tried to calm her down by scratching her in the face, cause it looked like she was in some kind of trance. Although she snapped out of it for the time being, she could still see futures, and it continued to mess with her. One day in the forest, she attacked Teakfur. In shock, Teakfur barely fought back and was merely screaming at her and pleading with her. Luckily, his friend, Ivypaw, came from behind and slashed viciously at Brownfire's back, sending her onto the ground and bleeding. She told Teakfur he would regret the day he lived, and that he'll look back one day and realize she was right all along, and she was merely helping. Those flashes were actually Teakfur's future. Becoming Beta, betraying his pack, falling to his death into blazing fires, and seeing his mother once more, basically saying "I told you so."

I don't EVER make insane characters like this... Ones that see everybody's future and fears themself for it. Especially wolves, because that's just not normal. I LOVE her character so far, and I like where Teakfur's backstory is going. I needed to give him a reason to go mad and betray his pack, but this is only the start of it...
