why can you drink a drink but you cant food a food

High temperature food transfers heat to comparatively colder atmosphere. whereas the cold drinks which are generally near zero degree celsius also wants to get balanced with the atmosphere's temperature, since the atmosphere in this case is hotter (38 degree celsius) so the drinks gets heat from the atmosphere.
