Candy animals are mostly placed in candy shops for adoption or butchering. If they are not adopted before it’s too late, (TW) they will be butchered. Otherwise, a person can order for them to be butchered. The reason they are butchered sometimes is the same reason that farmers kill cows. They are delicious.
Hope this isn’t too harsh

I have made a few candy species and uhhhhh I saw other people make them too so I thought this had that same kind of vibe, I thought you made the species or sum ;w; sorry
